Dr. Julie Hengehold and Dr. Jeremy Parrott

Drs. Jeremy Parrott and Julie Hengehold are husband and wife.   They met while in dental school in Ann Arbor, MI.  Jeremy graduated one year prior to Julie and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry while stationed in Great Lakes, IL.   After Julie graduated dental school, Julie and Jeremy got married.  They had their reception at the historic and beautiful Thomas Edison Inn.   After the wedding they moved to Okinawa, Japan to serve with the United States Navy.  During the two years in Okinawa, Julie had the opportunity to deploy on a humanitarian mission to Bangladesh and Jeremy deployed on a humanitarian mission to the Philippines.  They both enjoyed these missions and felt that it helped them grow clinically, personally and professionally.  After Okinawa, they completed their active duty service in Newport, RI.   They met a lot of great dentists in the Navy and gained great insight from working side-to-side with specialists.  They enjoy surrounding themselves with good friends and sharing a good meal. 

Education and Training

Drs. Hengehold and Parrott received excellent training while attending the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.  They continued their training while serving in the Navy.  They each complete over 100 hours in continuing education annually.  You can be assured that these dentists are well educated and experienced.

She earned both her undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and continually hones her skills by exceeding continuing education requirements in cosmetic and general dentistry. Working alongside nationally recognized instructors, she stays at the forefront of the latest advancements and techniques.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Hengehold enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, cycling, running, and cross-country skiing. She also serves as Treasurer for the University of Michigan Alumni Cheerleading Association.

Dr. Parrott is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. Following dental school, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Naval Health Clinic Great Lakes.

Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Parrott far exceeds the minimum continuing education requirements, particularly in the fields of cosmetic and general dentistry. His passion for the art of dentistry shines through in his creativity and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in beautiful restorations for his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Parrott enjoys spending time outdoors. You might find him kayaking, boating, biking, or skiing during his free time.
